Linked below is the Research of Julia Milne QSM, co-founder of He Puāwai Trust, has completed  a research project through a Health Research Council (HRC) Career Development Award 2024 examining how whānau-led initiatives can strengthen local food resilience, wellbeing and equity across Aotearoa. Drawing on interviews with community leaders, social enterprises and kaupapa Māori practitioners, the research identifies practical models that support communities to exercise greater rangatiratanga over their own kai systems and futures.
